 Wagner Wooden Animals Blackened Metal Hinges Our accessories include wooden animals and hinges designed by Jim Wagner and Emily Zopf. The wooden animals and butterflies are cut from softwood, sculpted, painted, and finished with furniture wax. They are available as cutouts suitable for surface mounting or as ornaments finished and signed on the back. They can be used to decorate existing pieces, fashioned as door-pulls, or simply hung from the wall. Let your imagination take over. Our hinges are cut from blackened metal in shapes based on the wooden animals and butterflies. The cutouts can also be mounted and used as drawer pulls. The animals come in two sizes. The large animals are around 6" across and sell for $25. The small animals are around 5" and sell for $20. The hinges sell for $48 a pair. We also carry studio quilts by Emily Zopf. Emily is an accomplished quilt artist whose work has appeared in numerous publications and national shows. Emily's quilts typically are displayed as wall hangings. Emily paints and prints on fabrics to achieve unusual effects. We think her work goes well with our furniture.
